When I cook in my kitchen, I am always searching for a kitchen towel. To make life easier, I decided to make an apron that incorporated a kitchen towel and developed this pattern. It has become my favorite apron, because it is so handy to "wear" your towel and always have it at hand. Now you too can have a kitchen towel within your reach because the towel is the base for your fun new apron. This is a fast and easy pattern to make. The apron is a great gift idea and can be personalized for almost any occasion. It is the perfect gift idea for those hard-to-shop for people on your gift and easy to personalize through your fabric selections. The apron can also be made with a woven cotton kitchen towel, but I prefer the terry cloth towel because of the body and absorbency it provides. The jumbo rickrack is a fun accent and perfect trim for this pattern. The pattern provides detailed instructions and illustrations that walk you through the apron's construction, step by step. Included are two versions for the waistband as well as a pattern for an optional pocket.
