What I love about designing belts is the many different nuances you need to consider: the buckle, the width, the shape of the edge, the fastening method, the overall assembling of the pieces - all of these create the unique design of each belt. This guide I lays out the basics for how to easily make your own custom fitted leather belt, and style it to your own desires and needs. You will learn simple ways to take correct and accurate measurements for your own size, to create different styles of belts. Hi, I'm Noa, a fashion and textile designer. I split my days between teaching Fashion Design classes and designing sewing patterns and tutorials for accessories (which I guess is a also a form of teaching). I also provide printing on leather services for fellow designers (if that interests you - drop me a line!) These are all my ways to making our world a more colorful place. There is really nothing like that wonderful feeling that comes along with making something beautiful with your own two hands (You know what I'm talking about, don't you?!). I hope you'll enjoy my sewing patterns as I put much thought into making them as simple and clear as possible. Thank you for your time, now go create something beautiful! Noa
