I attended Pacific school of Design in San Francisco where I was taught pattern making and sewing, I then traveled to Rome, Italy and had a small atelier in the heart of downtown Rome that I shared with other artists and artisans were I made custom women’s clothing After a few years I returned to California and worked in the Interior design business, everything from sales, custom sewing to design consultant I now reside in Portland, Oregon. For the past 10 years I have happily stitched away in my home studio producing handcrafted items for select retail establishments and custom orders. VINTAGE TEXTILES I have a vast cache of special and beautiful antique textiles, trims, and various fancies from the Victorian era to the 1950’s that I acquired during the years I lived Europe and from my recent treasure hunts here in the great northwest Through some magical unseen process these items carry with them the romance, history and beauty of times past that I incorporate into new designs. I also use reclaimed recycled, designer and couture fabrics in my work Everything is handmade by me with the utmost care to workmanship and detail
