Pattern Details

Laura Ingalls Doll Dress Pattern is designed for 18 inch dolls, such as Gotz Little Sister Dolls, American Girl Dolls, and other similarly sized dolls. Inspired by the TV series Little House on the Prairie from the 70s, I created this dress, bonnet, and pinafore for my dolls. I loved both reading the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder and watching the TV show as a child. My daughters also enjoyed both when they were little. Laura Ingalls and her story have touched so many generations. Please Note: Avery Lane Designs is not affiliated with any doll company. Pattern Details Dress, Bonnet, and Pinafore This dress features a mock button-down placket and center back opening, long sleeves, full and tightly gathered skirt to mimic the look of cartridge pleats, which was commonly sewn in those days. The skirt also features growth pleats. Pinafore opens in the back with buttons and its bodice is lined. Hook and Loop tape could easily be substituted for buttons/buttonhole closure. Includes printable pattern sheets for every pattern piece, including the skirt piece with pleat markings. Avery Lane Designs is not affiliated with any doll company.
