Olivia is super trendy, super relaxed, super easy to sew and super easy to fit! Pick out any of your favourite rayon or bamboo jerseys and in about an hour, you'll have a great top to wear with skinny jeans, tight slacks or tights! Make it in a stripe to wear with a blazer jacket for work, in a fun print for everyday joy, or in a plain fabric with a cool iron-on-print or stencil to make it boutique cool! This jersey tee has a lot of ease, but still shaping enough to not look sloppy. The t-shirt has short or 3/4 length sleeves, finished with ribbing (or you could just hem the sleeves) and has a hem ribbing band as well, which really adds something to the shape of the tee. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Sewing basic seams. Everything else is explained in the pattern SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS This pattern includes all sizes from XXS (bust = 78 cm/31?) to 4XL (bust = 126 cm/49?). See image of size chart for further measurements.

Recommended with this pattern

  • The Olivia Oversize Tee was designed for a lightweight jersey with a good drape (we need the soft drape!), such as rayon or bamboo jersey.
  • For the short sleeved version you'll need about 100 - 110 cm (39 - 43?)of fabric (140 cm (55?) wide).
  • For the 3/4 sleeve version you'll need about 150 - 170 cm ( 59 - 67?) depending on the size you make.

I design the Mariadenmark patterns, which is a line of downloadable print-at-home pattterns. I've always wanted to create with textiles and started knitting, crocheting and sewing as a young child. I started garment sewing in my early twenties, and have gathered experience and lots of friends through the online sewing community. The idea behind the MariaDenmark pattern line is to create simple patterns for everyday wear, with detailed illustrated instructions, making them easy to sew, fit and wear for everybody - even complete beginners.
