Join designer and blogger Joan Hawley of Lazy Girl Designs and learn how to sew a zipper in a bag with three approachable methods for flawless installation. During class, you'll practice these techniques as you learn how to sew a zipper pouch, a trendy tote and a classic travel bag. With each project, you'll learn a new method and when that method will come in most handy. Along the way, you'll learn the techniques you need to create beautiful bags, starting with choosing fabric and setting up your machine. You'll also see how to create all the bells and whistles of your bags, from handles to boxed corners, and discover essential techniques for rotary cutting and gorgeous pressing.
