Joi Mahon is an award-winning designer, author, educator, pattern designer, and expert in fit with a degree in fashion design from Iowa State University. She creates custom clothing at her company, Dress Forms Design Studio. Her designs have appeared in publications including <i>Threads</i>, <i>Sew News</i>, <i>Sew It All</i> and <i>SQR Professional</i>. Joi is active in the sewing industry as a member of the National Sewing Council, Sewing Educator Alliance, and The Association of Sewing and Design Professionals, plus she is the national spokes-designer for the Love of Fashion program sponsored by Baby Lock USA.
