Q&A with SashieGirl

Meredith K asked:
So cute!!
SashieGirl answered:
Thanks, it was fun. I'm trying to do different things than I normally would. When I was a kid I used to doodle all over my papers and Zentangle reminded me of that, even though the Zentangle people insist it's not doodling. It's like how I used to doodle. Instead of drawing it, I quilted it.
Deb Cavanaugh asked:
That is darling with the landscape in the background. How fun.
SashieGirl answered:
Hi Deb; Thanks heaps.
Nanaandpapa1 asked:
I would love it if you shared your adorable birds on my Zentangle Quilt Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Zenquilt?ref=hl
SashieGirl answered:
I would love to, but I am not on Facebook. The birds were in the book "Zen-sational Stitches for Quilting" by Suzanne McNeill. They were fun. A lot of folks draw the bird part, but I wanted to stitch it. to see how it would look, since all that close stitching holds down the loft. Thanks for your comments. Happy Stitching!
Jane Armstrong asked:
This is just gorgeous!
SashieGirl answered:
Thanks, Jane. I wanted to see what would happen if one used black and white fabrics for some of the tangle areas. I still want to try that in something more than a border. I think it would be fun, so stitching, some pieced or appliqued areas with black and whites.
