Whimsy Baby Tote

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I am very happy with the finished product - considering I didn't use a pattern to construct the tote - although it's a basic box-style design - it was not difficult. I added pockets inside to slip in those basic of baby necessities. I realize this tote doesn't scream "baby" - it doesn't even whisper it, but that was my intent from the start (It could be used for many purposes). I plan to fill it up with some baby basics for gift-giving. With the baby shower next week, I can't wait to see my daughter's reaction and hope she loves it as much as I do! What advice would you give someone starting this project? This project was not difficult - just took time in measurements and planning for construction of the tote and making sure my stupendous stitching was the appropriate size. Taking it one step at a time - this project took several hours over 2 days. I say go for it! I LOVE Stupendous Stitching.
