Yup, batik carrots! Unless you are planning on a border which is wider than your strips... because then it would dominate. Playful is perfect for your quilt, but don't take away from the great flow and vibrance of the actual center work. If you are thinking of using the pale fabric for the backing, another great option would be the blue and green vines of Option 4. Have you thought about making a binding out of the same jellyroll races strips?
