Weekender Bag

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Finally finishing it. What advice would you give someone starting this project? It was a challenging Amy Butler pattern but doable if you take it slow and read and re-read the directions. Tara's class gave me the confidence to try it.

What you will need

  • Cotton scraps from my stash
  • batting
  • utility cloth
  • batting and a jacket zipper.

The zipper was actually easy, the hard part was putting all the sections together.

I love it! I was so disappointed in my weekender that I made out of amazing eschino because as soon as I finished it, I saw that someone had done third QAYG. It makes for such an amazing bag!
