What are you most proud of? That I was able to make a quilt for my son and his bride and it actually fits their bed and it is WARM! My daughter-in-law loves the colours. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Before sewing the strips together, this is a HUGE quilt and you need lots of space to lay it out. I had to move my dinning room table in order to get enough floor space. Although it was fanatically easy to cut the blocks for this quilt, it seemed to take ages to get them in order. I would get them arranged like I wanted and then notice I had likes near each other or in the same row. I'd move some and others would pop up out of order! I finally thought that I had gotten them the way I wanted them, but when I started sewing them together I found mistakes. Decided it wasn't worth trying to fix them as I'd never get them right. They aren't major and they don't stand out.
