Tuscany Flowers Mini Quilt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I took the posted photo at a winery in Tuscany last May and loved it. So it was my inspiration for the mini quilt and I like the way it turned out. I learned a lot from this terrific course and plan to make more mini quilts. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I did a lot of the sewing before steaming to the batting which was just a mistake. After steaming, I went back and added some leaves and flowers and just fused them in the middle so they pop off the fabric. I think it makes it more 3 dimensional So leave space for this if you want to do the same.

What you will need

  • Sewing and quilting materials as outlined in class.
