They all come tumbling down

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I lined up my tumblers really well for a beginner ( I think) and I love how they came out. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you lay everything out before you start sewing. I had to do a little rearranging of the rows because at first I just started grabbing pieces and sewing.

What you will need

  • Sewing machine
  • thread
  • 5" tumbler template

So cute!! Love your elephants, they look great with that black stitch! It's a fun circus like quilt! Excellent job! I want to make one too! :)

Love the job you did on this quilt! Great fabrics, the black outline done on one the elephants really make that elephant "pop" out and placing the letters of the name on an angle like that add to its whimsy! Looks like you put a lot of thought into these little details which make a huge impact. Beautiful, fun looking quilt! I hope Adalyn loves it!

1 more question... I may or may not include a name like you did - so cute!! How did you get your letters? Did you just find a font on line, enlarge & use as a template & then do it with fusible web? Can't wait, starting my 3 elephant quilts this week! :)
wpbmommy1 answered:
Yes, that is exactly how I did it. I used a font from Microsoft Word, enlarged it, printed it, and used Heat N Bond. I realize this reply is about a year too late but I sure hope you had fun with your quilts!
