Teen Quilt

What are you most proud of? I am a beginner and in a few short months I learned to quilt and free motion quilt from the beginning to the end. I have to admit there were times I was going to pack it in. I thought this craft was not for me, but I stuck with it and in the end I enjoyed it. I look forward to my next project. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun and stick with it. I can see why many have unfinished quilts because I was going to pack this one away until I had the courage and strength to finish it, but I stuck with it and the joy of completing and seeing the finish project is so rewarding. I have such a new found respect for avid quilter. Happy Quilting

Q&A with JC Phillips

Brook asked:
Beautiful quilt. I love the colors you chose. I have learned almost everything re: quilts from Jenny's tutorials. I don't recognize the pattern Is it one that she did or did you design it yourself? : )
JC Phillips answered:
Hi Brook, thank you for your kind comments. This one is from her blog. If the link does not work it's from her septermber 17th post. http://blog.missouriquiltco.com/amazing-jelly-roll-quilt-pattern/ Happy Quilting!
Brook asked:
LOL!! I just finished making 27 of these blocks for a block exchange. I only know it as 3Dudes. I still didn't recognize this as your pattern. Love the colors you used. : )
JC Phillips answered:
Hi Brook! Yes that is the right pattern. I used the same technique, and peiced by grabing blocks and lined them whichever way. 27 blocks already...awesome work.
cap2011 asked:
I showed my daughter this quilt and she loved it, now she wants one like it. Where can I find the pattern.??
JC Phillips answered:
Hi! I got the pattern from here http://blog.missouriquiltco.com/amazing-jelly-roll-quilt-pattern/ I followed the same outline she gave and this is what came out of it. It's all with Jelly rolls that I made this quilt from.
VJacks asked:
Those colors are beautiful! The purple draws me in. You did a great job!
JC Phillips answered:
Thank you...she love it very much!
