Project

Tante Jeanne 80

What are you most proud of? That I finished in time for her birthday despite all distractions of life and how much I enjoyed the handquilting part. It was fun and I will do it again. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time and a big (bed)sheet to puzzle the pieces before assembling. Don't mind crossovers grey to blue, it brings a bit of interest to the quilt. Use a disappearing ink pen to draw the tree of life: it gives nice and thin lines and washes out fine. Take a little more seam allowance for the borders, mine were very tight at a quarter inch.

You Can Make This

sandrarobben made Tante Jeanne 80 with:

  • Jelly Roll Moda Pappillon and cottons from the same range. The backside is a creme cotton.
