T shirt quilt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Since I'm just a beginner in this quilting scene, I'm most proud of the FMQ designs I learned here. What advice would you give someone starting this project? For me, Leah Day was the easiest instructor to follow here and I learned a lot of great filler designs that really made my quilt look good.

What you will need

  • T shirts and a couple of other shirts full of memories
  • backing material
  • sashing material
  • binding material
  • isacord thread
  • Pellon featherweight interfacing

Very nice....t-shirts can be a pain to work with.....did you put interfacing on the back of each one?
oldwayz answered:
Hi, yes I did---the featherweight 906F on the first quilt and when I couldn't find more of that one, I used the 911F which is thicker but worked just as well.
