Swirling Stars

What you will need

  • I used cotton scraps from my stash for the stars and white cotton for the body of the quilt. For the back
  • I pieced strips from any scraps I had left from when I made the stars.

QuiltDude asked:
Your quilting is absolutely beautiful! I am in awe [and in envy! LOL] of your quilting skills. Very, very, very nicely done. And those little swirling stars add just the right pop of color to make this a fun, whimsical quilt. Great job all around! I think I know what quilt I'm going to try next! Thanks for posting!
janhume answered:
Thank you so much for your comments. I am fairly new to machine quilting and am practicing quite a bit. I tried to add a mixture of modern and traditional to my quilt as there is a lot of negative space to cover.

Thanks for the kind words. It means a lot to hear from you. It's my favourite of the quilts I have made so far. I love all parts of the process (well maybe not the binding)! Now on to the next one!
