Project

Sunshine and Blue skies

What are you most proud of? Finishing it! I am also proud that I designed it and am looking forward to designing more quilts. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Find something that inspires you and break it down into simple steps. Then think on the best method for putting those pieces together. Don't give up on your project (even when you get to the point of thinking it won't work - been there!)

You Can Make This

sunshine256 made Sunshine and Blue skies with:

  • I used cotton fabric for this. I designed this one from the ground up
  • so am pretty chuffed with myself. Its my first design. It is all done on paper (foundation pieced) and the center and the corners are inspired by Ra Nae Merrill and her 'twisted blocks'.
