Q&A with K Lee 2Strings

qulady asked:
I feel your pain, i think we've all done it at one time or another- i guess it depends on how anal you are, it would make some people completely crazy, me- i've quilted for over 30 years and personally, i'd let it go, it is a lovely piece, most people wouldnt even notice, im glad you posted it anyway, thanks for sharing such a pretty quilt!
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Thanks for your sympathy. I'm getting the same advice from friends. Decisions, decisions.
Babsr67 asked:
It's lovely, hang it diagonally over the back of a couch if it bothers you too much!
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Well that's definitely an idea to ponder. Thanks.
Betsy0 asked:
I like your color choice. You've made a beautiful quilt. I also believe that each quilt I make teaches me another lesson; you just learned one yourself. No one will notice, especially because you chose the perfect name. I love it!
K Lee 2Strings answered:
You are so sweet. I'll probably leave it as it is - a reminder that one can't check and double check a work in progress too thoroughly.
gmatloff asked:
Well if it was me I would leave it, this gives it character it is beautiful....your colors are wonderful.
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Thank you so much. You sound a bit like my daughter. She's already attached to the twisted block.
Sandra in CA asked:
Well it does have that surprise. I think it is beautiful. Make sure to put the story on the label. Another idea since it looks Christmasy to me is to cut it diagonally at that corner to the center, cut out a small circle, bind all the new edges and use it as a tree skirt for Christmas. Or you can add some appliqu to that part and cover up the mistake somewhat and people will never notice. I definitely would not take it out, not with all the lovely quilting you did on it,
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Thanks so much. I love the ideas from fellow crafters.
