Sue Bonnet Sue - Applique Project

This is the first time doing applique work. This is for a special exhibit for our local library exhibit. Used class instructions from Fusible Applique (Deb Lutrell) and inspiration from Art Quilts (Wendy Butler Burns). However, this is my first attempt at doing a "grid" pattern using my walking foot - which I just learned watching Christina Cameli's new class: Quilting the Grid. Don't judge my stiple (FMQ) - I'm learning that as well.
