What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Subway Art Mug Rug Tutorial Link to website or photo www.sochickhandbags.com/2012/08/a-subway-art-mug-rug-tutorial.html What are you most proud of? The embroidery and overall design. I did all of the word art in my Singer Futura Hyperfont software, sew fun!! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Measure twice, cut once... And to lay out your pieces before stitching to ensure everything will line up.

Q&A with TheSoChickChick

Surfside6 asked:
This is adorable. Love the colors also. Might be tempted to try with hand embroidery and or basic stitches on machine.
TheSoChickChick answered:
You could absolutely do it with both. I think it'd be gorgeous with hand embroidery... maybe use water soluble pen to write your sayings in different sized text, with a simple running stitch over them? I'd love to know if/when you try it! XxOo~M
