Q&A with Dena_LivinH20

AZWendyG asked:
What a nice "practice" piece! I love the way you combined your FMQing with decorative stitches. Often just "going with the flow" results in some wonderful pieces like yours.
Dena_LivinH20 answered:
Can you tell I like FMQing? lol I am not a fan of hand embroidery or any hand work, so I used FMQ instead. You are so right, going with flow can be fun and rewarding.
ValUK asked:
This is stunning (green is my favourite colour so maybe I'm just a little biased!) I love your choice of colours and stitches. I've never tried FMQing but after seeing your work I've added it to my list of things to try! Thank you for the inspiration.
Dena_LivinH20 answered:
Thanks. I am falling in love(obessed, maybe lol) with FMQ. There is so much to learn. I hope to use the combination of FMQ and decorative stitches in a quilt more often.
Carol Ann Waugh asked:
Your art is amazing. You have elevated Stupendous Stitching to a new level! Thanks for sharing!
Dena_LivinH20 answered:
Wow, I don't know what to say. Thanks so much for your gracious and generous encouragement.
ddschultz819340 asked:
what machine are you using for FMQ................I'm in the market!
Dena_LivinH20 answered:
I am using the Janome New Home 7700. I purchased( a big one for me) her three months ago and I am so glad I did. I almost talked myself out of it.
Donna DeMotte asked:
Just absolutely beautiful work, Livn!
