What are you most proud of? That I figured out how to Sash, do quilt as you go, and make it reversible. This is only the third quilt I have made. Love the Craftsy classes. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go slow and take your time.

Q&A with scrappersue

Davesmom asked:
Hi, I love your quilt. What book did you use of Sharon Pederson and where can I get one. Quilt as you would be great for a large quilt. I have take the same class as you. The star quilt got me motivated. I have about 10 blocks made, different reds and using black as my background fabric. Love your sashing inbetween stars. What a great I idea to make the quilt reversible. I do like your zebra fabric and green side of quilt the front side is awsome. I love my classes also.
scrappersue answered:
sheron pederson has a dvd and a book called "reversible quilts". She uses narrow binding but said on her flying geese used 2.5 inch so I used that and put in batting then top stitched it.also read every thing I could find on the internet on Quilt as you go. There are several ways to do it.
