String Quilt

What are you most proud of? That I finally put these blocks together and finished the quilt - I had several piles of blocks that were odd sizes and decided to trim them all up to the same size and finish the quilt. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just throw random strips together. Really, the worst clashing strips and ugliest combinations make the best blocks!
