String-pieced Block

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Forget the square foundation and just use strips for the whole thing. It also will be less bulky that way. The only reason I gave this a 2 out of 5 for difficulty is because, if you're like me, you can get a bit bogged down with the whole "hmmm what shall I add now?" conundrum. It is one of those exercises in ordered randomness that are sometimes harder than they look to pull off!

You Can Make This

Cat Sultan made String-pieced Block with:

  • Kona snow I must have purchased before I knew what a cult following Kona fabric would have! And a mix of old scraps and new fabric strips. I also used a couple pieces I got from a fun swap with somebody!
