Q&A with Jennifer Thomas

Surfside6 asked:
Oh, Jennifer.....I am drooling over these blocks. So glad you showed the original fabric so everyone can see how the fantastic the pattern works. I have made this a couple of times and posted a few pix here. Your choices are fantastic. I am so jealous!!!!!
Jennifer Thomas answered:
Thank you & oh Wow! I just went and looked at yours. I love the swirly triangle stars! That's a really cool pattern, too.
Surfside6 asked:
Hey, Jennifer...... how big are those blocks? I think mine were about 6 inch? I always wanted to enlarge the pattern as they are so labor intensive, but as always, too much fabric, not enough time. LOL
Jennifer Thomas answered:
These blocks are going to finish at 12".
Anna Csurke asked:
Wow, these are amazing stars. I love your fussy cut. I think, have to try to sew one. I have an interesting fabric and now you gave me inspirate what could sew from that fabric. Tank you. I am very curious on your quilt. Happy Quilting, Jennifer!
Jennifer Thomas answered:
Thank you, Anna! I sewed together another star and a half at quilting group on Monday. I'll have to add those pics soon. So happy to hear my quilting is inspiring others, too. If you sew some stars, I would love to see them. Have a super day!
Cindy Morris asked:
How do you think you'll set this quilt?
Jennifer Thomas answered:
I'm working on it. I'm sewing sashing out of the background fabric between the squares, then a purple border, then an outer border using the focus fabric that I sewed the stars from.
joaneaude6634434 asked:
can I print this pattern
Jennifer Thomas answered:
Sorry, I do not have a pattern. I was taught this method in a local hands on sew-a-long class.
