Square patch baby quilt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I designed it and completed it myself, my first quilt. Now I have the courage to move on to quilt #2. What advice would you give someone starting this project? i made a quilt of 9 x 10 squares, although some of the Beatrix Potter squares were made up of 2. Although I like the Potter squares, it made layout of the squares more complicated, and I couldn't use strips as I'd planned. Plan well.

What you will need

  • The person I made this for doesn't like traditional baby colors
  • and she's from the South. I decided to dig in to my Civil War reproduction fabrics
  • which gives the quilt a more traditional look. Thanks to 505 adhesive
  • I was able to get the quilting done easily.
