What are you most proud of? It's my first Queen-sized quilt What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't think about how long it's going to take!

  • French General Rouenneries cotton jelly rolls; extra-wide cotton backing fabric; cotton batting; cotton thread

Thank you! I didn't have a pattern for the quilt. I wanted to make a red and white quilt after seeing the Red & White show at the Armory in New York. The quilt is made with very simple Split Rail Fence squares (3 strips each) using jelly roll fabric. Just Google "Split Rail Fence Quilt Block" and you will get lots of ideas. Play with the blocks until you get the size and layout you want! Hope that helps.

Thanks! Also appreciate you noticing our little cat. Sadly she's no longer with us, so especially glad to have this pic of her. Our new two seem to love lying on quilts too =^:^=
