What are you most proud of? The snowflakes! I researched paper snowflakes (even found an online tool to make your own virtual snowflakes!), had my 14 yr-old offer to show me... I then cut out 5.5" squares of a pale blue and white batik, sprayed them with the glitter spray (after experimenting on paper towel and practice on other fabric). I then ironed the squares onto a piece of Steam-a-Seam Lite 2 (under a teflon protector) - maybe don't iron on quite so long next time. Then I had the fun of folding them and cutting out the snowflakes - required sharp points and strong scissors. What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you want to make the snowflakes, practice on paper first! The virtual snowflake maker also helped me to see how I didn't want it to be too complicated.
