Sixteen point compass

What are you most proud of? I am really pleased that i have managed to apply what I learned in Peggy's class to other designs and projects. I also need some new cushion covers! What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you complete Peggy's course, you will be able to tackle the different Mariner's Compass designs that are around!

Q&A with Teddymaker

AllThatPatchwor asked:
Gorgeous! Perfect points and I love your colors.
Teddymaker answered:
Thank you! I love batiks. The best thing is that they don't have a 'wrong' side, so no finding I've sewn the fabric on the wrong side - so easily done when paper piecing! My kind of patchwork!
NB Originals asked:
Wow! I love it! Paper piecing is so much fun! And the colors you chose really are stunning!! Batiks are soooo addictive :)
Teddymaker answered:
I just love batiks! They are so colourful, It is so easy to choose fabrics that will work together.
Peggy Martin asked:
Great project, and there are your wonderful batiks again! It's so great to be able to make a useful project with just one block - beautiful!
Teddymaker answered:
Thank you, Peggy. This was my second paper piecing project. I can't wait to do more!
