Sea Glass pattern by Talk of the Town

What you will need

  • My oldest and best friend pointed this pattern out to me. It is by Talk of the Town and is called Sea Glass. My husband Glen picked out the colours. We used Batiks and cotton batting. In keeping with the sea glass theme i decided to topstitch the back ground in a pebbled pattern :) oddcatstitches.com

Just stopped by your website, love your use of color!! It's all so vibrant & fun! And love that you & Glen work together! My husband joins me in design & I always include him on the labels! :)
Odd Cat Stitch answered:
I love Glen's ideas around design - I just wish we had more time to explore all the ideas we come up with! Glad to see I'm not the only one that has a quilter husband! Thank you again Meredith :)
KrissBJoyful asked:
Absolutely beautiful! You quilted with a regular sewing machine? Awesome skills!
Odd Cat Stitch answered:
Thank you kissdawn! :)
Surfside6 asked:
Magnificent. Although I had fallen in love with the blues and greens (for sea glass in general), this choice of reds/oranges is terrific. Thanks for sharing. I really want to add this pattern to my "bucket list"
Odd Cat Stitch answered:
My husband Glen says "Thanks Surfside6!" - he chose the fabrics :)
Talk of the Town asked:
I love it! It is so fun to see this quilt in other fabrics. The quilting on your background is a nice choice too. Great job.
Odd Cat Stitch answered:
Thank you very much Talk of the Town - and thank you for creating such a lovely pattern!
