Scrappy Noahs Ark

Project Description

What are you most proud of? That I finished my second quilt. It's not perfect. Had trouble with some of the sqaures cut on bias. The back panels are not centered as I had hoped. My FMQ leaves alot to be desired but the FMQ waves look pretty good. Overall I am pleased and have another quilt waiting for me to start. Here is link to my flickr page with progress pictures of my quilts progress. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun!

What you will need

  • I used fabrics from the Retro Boho line. I also purchased pre-printed panels of Noah's Ark. I used Groovin Piping Trimming Tool for the piping on the quilt top. Sulky threads.

It's lovely - don't do yourself down - there's no such thing as imperfect in quilting! (Or at least that's what I tell myself!) You're quite right about the instruction we can get from Craftsy - it's absolutely second to none, and it's there for us to access whenever we like. - we're so lucky! I love your "Noah's Ark" quilt - really jolly and bright!
Scheri Manson answered:
Thank you Patz.
