where can i get the pattern for this love it carmella
joyfulous42 answered:
well it fell out of my brain.. but it is very simple the blocks are a string scrapy sewn overy the size of square I used and then cut back to a square.. I put sashing in between each one.. the piano keys are just rectangular bars sewn in a row and added to the end of the main piece..couple of boarders.. Now I like to make a back for my quilts.. one plain patch is boring.. the back is a jelly roll easy for that as well.. sew jelly roll strips end to end and you can give this the 45 deg as per bias strip.. or just butt them together.. once the whole jelly roll is sewn end to end start sewing with both the ends together.. the this brings your jelly roll in half ... continue the folding and sewing until it becomes a lovely piece.. I made it a little larger than the front side and then quilted them together and then finished then off with binding.. I love to sew like this as it is very fun.. freeing.. and fast...
