Scottish Thistle

Project Description

What was your inspiration? Scottish Thistle is part of a wall hanging called Flowers of The United Kingdom that I am making. Having visited Scotland twice very extensively and having fallen in love with it, I really wanted to make a thistle quilt block. This wild flower instigated the idea of a wall hanging in my mind. I wanted to design these blocks to have an old-world stained glass window pane look. Blogged @

Thank you!! It is so great to hear that you liked my thistle :)
Nola McLenachen asked:
I bought this pattern but it doesn't seem to download for me. How do I get the directions to make it?

I am sorry for the delayed reply. Craftsy doesn't send notifications regularly any more. When you log in to Craftsy, click on "My Patterns" on the left side. On that page, you will see all of you purchased patterns, the Thistle will be there too. If you click on the picture, you will get a "Save" dialog box. You can save the pattern on your machine from there. After saving the pattern on your chosen location, you can print the pattern and make the block. I hope this helps. -Soma
