Sassy's Quilt

Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Disappearing 9 Patch - Missouri Star Quilt Co Link to website or photo www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEjZOXxPazg What are you most proud of? Got it finished in time for Christmas! What am I least proud of... the quilting was very rushed... but I did ESS it, and I mean EVERY seam including the border! I am still tempted to undo the quilting and redo it but Sassy says it's ok... she says I can do better on her next one ;-) What advice would you give someone starting this project? Allow more time for the quilting LOL!

Q&A with Pam NZ

ChristmasEv asked:
Love your quilt! Lucky Sassy! Is the pattern the diss appearing nine patch? It looks great! Hey, I just read that it is! Love the way it looks. Did you lay our the squares in a particular manner so that you have all your turquoise in strips and the bright colors in squares? Must have! Again, love it! Thank you for sharing!
Pam NZ answered:
Thanks, and thanks for answering your own questions LOL. My 9 patch layout was paua or pink in the corners, turq in between and odd square in the centre. Then I cut them and arranged them so that there were no seams matching... and so got the turq arms effect. Neat eh!
Darns asked:
So glad to see Sassy's quilt! Every dog deserves one! The colors are fun & so is the quilting - don't know what you are worried about!
Pam NZ answered:
