Q&A with Lab lady

Peggy Martin asked:
Love those beautiful batiks - great job on your fabric selection! Your quilting really adds a lot to the quilt - wonderful!!
Lab lady answered:
Thanks, Peggy. Do you have a way that you approach quilting compass style blocks? I love the looks of these blocks and am already planning larger projects. I do not want to get into a rut and always quilt them the same way.
White Eagle asked:
Spectacular! Please post the completed project - anxious to see the total finished project, it must be smashing.
Lab lady answered:
Thanks! Actually, this is the completed "mini" quilt. Here in NH mini quilt challenges are popular. I am going to use this pattern to do a larger project for myself.
Toopy asked:
Wow, this is terrific, the colors are great and your quilting really finishes it nicely. Love the mini quilt idea.
Lab lady answered:
Thanks! I love this pattern, just finished another one for myself, this one was donated for a guild raffle to raise money for charity.
Judiferg asked:
This is beautiful. I am yet to feel brave enough to do a Mariner's Compass
Lab lady answered:
Thank you. Actually, Judy Martin's class makes it really easy. This was my first attempt.
