Road to Oklahoma Block

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Road to Oklahoma Link to website or photo www.quiltercommunity.com What are you most proud of? I got my points to come out right. I hate chopped off points on stars and triangles. Also my border on this one. it's hard to see but, it's squares on point and they are 2 different sizes.. I saw it in a book once that was just borders. So I tried to copy from memory.. It worked I think. What advice would you give someone starting this project? buy a 1/4 inch presser foot for your sewing machine. It makes all the difference in the world. And if you are buying the back ground fabric, make sure to buy enough at one time. I made the mistake thinking white fabric was all the same.. WRONG. I have 3 different whites. I don't like that so much. But I wasn't going to take it all apart.

You Can Make This

margarett89670 made Road to Oklahoma Block with:

  • It is all cotton. white
  • green and yellow in '30s prints..
