You can quilt the border after you have bound the quilt. I do it all the time. It's never too late for second thoughts .
Thanks for the idea. I've thought about it, but didn't know how it would fall out.

I moment I saw this I knew it was a winner. There is just not enough space for me to write all that I what to say about this piece. It is amazing, gorgeous, fantastic, artistic, thoughtful, colorful, and wonderfully made and designed, The quilting and the border adds another element that cannot be unnoticed. Yes it also has the WOW factor. I would put a blue ribbon on it if I were a judge. And you have my vote for viewers choice.
Wow! It's feel good to hear those words from you, because I struggle with not seeing the mistakes I made. But I think you tend to say, No one else knows.
Wonderful! and the choice of the border fabric was perfect for the tone of your image. Hope that makes sense? Borders often seem like a last minute add on-but yours really add to the overall feeling of your piece. great!
Thanks! I tried several fabric for the border, but this one gave the feeling of a blossoming garden best.
