Q&A with Katie Ringo

Sylvie14 asked:
Beautiful, beautiful!! I love what you did with the colors!! This is *one* roll-up??!! And I love your quilting!
Katie Ringo answered:
Yep one roll up and I still have lots of leftovers to do something else with. I want to make lots of rainbow flying geese and do star blocks or something.
Diane C Cote asked:
Outstanding colour combination! Truly superb! Thank you for sharing. How large is the quilt?
Katie Ringo answered:
I think I finishes around 24" square? I don't forget what it was when I measured it but it was around that I believe.
Tanya W. asked:
Just beautiful! Did you do the quilting with a regular machine or a longarm?
Katie Ringo answered:
Regular machine, though the scroll work was done using my embroidery attachment.
FroggyBeth asked:
Really stunning quilt - you've inspired me to take up the course!
Katie Ringo answered:
Kimberly is such a great designer! Once I learned the jelly roll lonestar technique I couldn't wait to try it with other things. This design is in her book Jelly Roll Magic too.
Beth245 asked:
I love your beautiful quilt - I am about to start this course and hope I can do justice to it like you have - well done.
Katie Ringo answered:
Once you learn the technique there are so many things you can do with it! It's so fun and her rulers make it really easy. :)
