Q&A with D.F.Grant

Cindy Needham asked:
WOW!!! This is a stencil I designed many years ago and I have never seen it in something like this. Incredible. Amazing. :)
D.F.Grant answered:
Thanks, Cindy. All your designs are truly gorgeous and inspirational. I loved your class.
Deb Cavanaugh asked:
I am back looking at your wonderful bag. If I saw you, even knowing you quilt, I would never in a million years think anyone could make that outrageously wonderful design.
D.F.Grant answered:
Thanks, Deb. I used Cindy Needham's medallion design that I applied to my purse pattern. Her templates are truly gorgeous.
Ana Maria Perna asked:
I love this!!! What size is it?
D.F.Grant answered:
Thanks! It measures 10" w x 7" h (measured to center top of purse) x 4"d (at bottom it tapers up) Strap drop is about 7 1/2"
stpat asked:
Is this purse pattern your own design, if not, what is it's name and the designer? It is absolutely beautiful
D.F.Grant answered:
Thank you! The purse pattern is my own design and the quilted medallion stitched pattern is from a template designed by Cindy Needham.
happycat123 asked:
This is by far my favorite quilted bag in all of google land - awesome job! How long did that take?
D.F.Grant answered:
Thanks happycat. You made my day! After the purse pattern was designed, it took 3 weeks to cut out the fabric, piece together and quilt.
