I like what you did with the blocks. (Especially leaving the basket of flowers out.) The fabric choice is sure fun, and I like the fact that it will go anywhere, so versatile. No season, no sex, no holiday. . . I really like that a lot!!!

Thank you! It is for my mother-in-law, and I would have done a star applique, but I figured with the Lemoyne star it would be better to find another block.

Great job. I love your colors. I am about to complete mine also.
knox6306 answered:
Thank you. It was inspired by someone who did black, white and red in the 2012 block of the month.
DeGramma asked:
Really love what you did with color and fabric.......too cute :) Would like to finish mine as you have, but not sure about the size of the flying geese or the layout. have been going nuts trying to piece the different sizes together :/.........Any suggestions??
knox6306 answered:
If you look at the first pdf file from January, the first page has a colored image, and one of the black and white pictures tells you the finished size of each section of the quilt. I deviated from the borders in the pattern as I wanted to use up some of the scraps and not make that many half square triangles. On the pdf she labels each of the background spacers, so you know what size to cut them. Hope that helps!
