Q&A with Ellene

johellen asked:
Very impressive!! ow long did it take?
Ellene answered:
I had the quilt on my long arm about 5 days, but probably only averaged 3-4 hrs each day. So, I would say about 18-20 hours. I don't usually put that much time in QoVs and I am wondering why??? From now on, I will not hesitate to put more intricate designs on the QoVs that I do. The destination is certainly worth it!!
Fiesta Quilter asked:
Just seeing your quilt convinced me that I need to take this class. I've had my long-arm for a couple of weeks and look forward to the day I can create beautiful work like yours. Congratulations on a job WELL DONE!
Ellene answered:
As they say the key is "practice, practice, practice." You will be able to do it! You just have to go for it! I have had my long arm for about 4 years. I couldn't have done this early on, but only because I didn't "think" I could. Don't compare your work to the work of others, only compare your current work to your previous work!
