Quick Strip Piece Paper Piecing

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I am most proud that I finished it for my granddaughter when she graduates and that I am not afraid to turn any paperpiece pattern into a Quick Strip Paper piecing project. Once I learned this method I won't do it any other way. Thank you so much Peggy!! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time and think about how the piece will flip open. Take care to watch your pieces that point up. Listen to the tips and get the books. I think they are only available on e books. Ask Peggy though, she may have some left.

What you will need

  • I used Batiks on these patterns. They are extremely nice on paper piecing projects.

4bird2 asked:
This would look so nice in my bedroom, I love the cool colors, your points are perfect, how are you going to quilt these points? I'm looking forward to seeing it quilted.
ladydi0102 answered:
I always put it on my design wall and just look at it for a while and decide if I am happy with everything. I am going to turn it over to my quilter and let her have at it. She is wonderful and I have never been disappointed with her work.
Marie Genereux asked:
Beautiful! Did you get all these designs from the class?
ladydi0102 answered:
Thank you, As to the pattern, I used both of Peggy's books and some from the class.
Peggy Martin asked:
I LOVE how your sampler top has come together! It's so exciting to see blocks from this class as well as from both my books all working together in one project. You did a fabulous job with your colors and fabrics - very nice work!
ladydi0102 answered:
Thank you so much. I have so enjoyed this class and your books. I would love to see you come out with another book or patterns.
