Puppy Portrait

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Pillow Puppy Link to website or photo www.silverliningsoriginals.com/cc/c.html What are you most proud of? I like the fabric combinations and I really had fun with the thread painting. I used a stabilized batting when I did the thread painting and then removed any batting that wasn't involved in the puppy. When I quilted the piece, I outlined the main sections of the puppy (ears, eyes, nose, muzzle, mouth). I think the combination of these techniques really make the puppy stand out from the background. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I had the pattern enlarged to a 16 inch square (original is 8") and, for me, the larger size was much more manageable for the paper piecing.
