Princess Girl

Project Description

What are you most proud of? The ever changing squares, that end up looking nothing like the original, but, just as beautiful...the border was all the little bits left over that I just kept sewing together, all different colors and sizes until it went all the way around the quilt. That was great that I could use up many of my scraps What advice would you give someone starting this project? There are 2 quilts displayed here...I set out to make them identical...as you can see, they are nothing alike, except for the color of the materials that I used. Each one took on a life of it's own. Don't be afraid to experiment. This was the first time I incorporated embroidered names...thanks to a friend who worked on that panel for me, with a machine built for that very thing.
