Project

Pretty Pineapple Tote

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Using fabric from Deb Strain Moda that I brought over from Australia....was going to make a quilt but got too many projects underway now....and this is such a happy print! Made the button on the front myself...put a little magnetic clasp inside with two pockets to hold my coffee! and phone etc...great size. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use good batting - the type for bags etc, not the quilting type - it gives it firmer shape and holds up better with the wear and tear.

What you will need

  • Moda fabric - charm squares and some yardage for the handles and lining.....use whatever you have its a great scrappy tote
