Prairie Hidden Stars

Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Hidden Stars Link to website or photo www.amazon.com/Jelly-Roll-Quilts-Pam-Lintott/dp/0715328638/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1332252802&sr=1-1 What are you most proud of? It was fun to see the stars come out of the pattern as it went together. It worked out well with this particular jelly roll and colors. What advice would you give someone starting this project? You can piece all the log cabin pieces in an afternoon. You'll want to take your time choosing the fabrics as you get further along in the pattern. I numbered the squares so I knew which ones needed which pattern for the stars. The "star" pieces take longer to put together but I made a copy of the instruction page so I could check them off as I completed each one.

Oh, my, that's pretty! Love the variation on the log cabin with the stars. I was just looking at that jelly roll last night and tempted to buy it. LOL! Nice to see how the fabrics look in a quilt.

This is a perfect project for me. I had seen another quilt done with the Moda Prairie Paisley fabric, but the pattern was not identified. I bought the fabric later when I saw it in a quilt shop. I was looking for a pattern to show off the wonderful collection. This quilt is a perfect choice to use. Thank you.
Mootie answered:
Glad you like it! It was a fun pattern to make.
