Practice piece

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I am very proud that I looked past some of the imperfections and continued with the project. In the end, you can't see a lot of those mistakes. I am also proud of how the scribbling and feathers turned out. My confidence is building with each stitch. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just go for it! Practice may not make perfect, but it can make beautiful!

What you will need

  • I used cheap muslin and 50 weight Aurofil cotton thread.

Hello Fellow Minnesotan... I too want to FMQ, what classes did you take before just jumping in?
MinnesotaB answered:
I took Machine Quilting: Free motion and more, Beyond Basic Machine Quilting and Design it, Quilt it. The key is practicing and doing it on something you don't worry about being perfect.
