Pot holders for Dag

What are you most proud of? after cutting the wrong fabric for the Drunkards Path, I choose to use the fabric to make pot holders for my friend. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I had terrible trouble sewing the drunkards path , I think basting first instead of just pinning would help me to stay with the quarter inch seam allowance, and..............had trouble with the binding around the corners all in all I am happy with my work So just enjoy and create with what happens there is nothing wrong to change your block into something else.

Q&A with gisela622

Polarjo asked:
Never thought about hand basting the curves instead of pinning, that would be easier and probably result in more accurate units. What a great idea!
gisela622 answered:
makes sense to me, I did not do good with the pins
Marie Withrow asked:
Beautiful!
gisela622 answered:
thanks it was you who inspired. I made such a mess with the drunkards path .
